Woman's tennis suffers a heart blow

Our hearts go out to former British No.# 1 tennis player Elena Baltacha who passed away on Sunday with liver cancer at the age of 30. (photograph: telegraph.co.uk) She had been fighting with the disease since the age of 19.  She retired from tennis in 2013.

Even with her illness and injuries Elena had achieved some amazing accomplishments

Staff Introduction:
Shinichi George Kidera  APF ACADEMIES COACH

Elena's agent Eleanor Preston quoted,"She went through it all without the slightest bit of self pity or ego." This quote is inspiring to me. My deepest condolences to her family.

Back into the swing of things in 2014! My goal is to definitely learn more Thai this year, play more tennis, get into great shape, and as always inspire those who want to become better tennis players. Have a great start everyone to your new year and keep your goals alive and in-line.
