Get Ready for Songkran 2014!!

Hello everyone! If you've never visited Thailand during the month of April it's New Years. For three consecutive days starting this year from April 13th ~15th, the new year celebration will begin in order to wash away all the bad to bring in all the new and good.

Yes, you do see all the crazy fun with super soakers and water gun wars as you travel around major parts of the city.  Aside from this, a little bit of history for those interested is Songkran originated from Burma. Other countries such as Vietnam and Laos also partake in the festival.  The word Songkran comes from the word " Sankranti" which mean "to move or to change."

If you are planning to venture off to festive area, we would highly recommend a plastic pouch to keep your mobile device and cash dry such a the one above. They are very cheap and keeps everything dry.
