After School Tennis Program @ AISB School soi 20 week 3

Hello everyone! Everyone was eager to learn more about the game. Today we added scoring. Sung-Chun had been a great helper showing everyone how to bounce hit and bounce catch which is the introduction to the rally we had practiced from the second week.  It's so nice to have everyone watch and listen to the instructions.

First activity was to split into three different groups where each group was at a station.  Here at this station Evangeline and Nishka are balancing the ball on their rackets walking back and forth from cone to cone. Two hands or one hand! Amber and Eva in the middle are practicing their bounce hit serve from the blue line with coach standing by to help.

At this station Sung-chan and William are weaving the balls (figure 8) between several cones and back. Pretty simple racket and ball control everyone picks it up quite easily.

William and Sung-chan are playing bounce hit bounce catch. Stand behind the blue line one person hits the ball and one person catches. We later progressed to bounce hit, bounce hit, and bounce catch before playing points up to five using clothes pins. It was another fun day!!
