Though I haven't personally had the privilege to experience Beach tennis it looks so so fun! A rapidly growing sport around the world, the official tour ITF Beach Tennis Tour (BTT) began in 2008. More and more countries are participating in this fun attractive sport for great health, fitness, and fun!!
How to Play Beach Tennis Overview:
Court size: beach volleyball court 16m long x 8m wide.
Surface: Sand
Net: 1.7m in height
Equipment: Paddle bats and stage 2 (low compression ball)
Scoring: same as regular tennis with semi-advantage system. No second serve and no service let.
Playing the game: Predominately played as doubles, but singles on smaller court is offered as well. Under and overarm serve both player can return serve. Point is won if ball hits the ground or is hit out.
Playing under the sun can be taxing on the body so it is important to keep properly hydrated.
